For the doubters amoung you, we offer this one:

August 4, 2007

Here's a quick updated report from the UFO hustings. Recently a TV producer contacted me to bounce some ideas off about what would make an intriguing UFO documentary. One thought that popped up involved the different types of alien species that exist out there who are coming here.

There are -- and Harold Burt in his book Flying Saucers 101 writes about them in his Alien Roll Call -- Grays, large Grays, Mantis beings, Nordics, Reptilians, light beings, and many different kinds of angelic-looking creatures. There are the much-described creatures who rolled out of the crashed crafts at all the New Mexico crash sites, and there are the J-Rods who reportedly still remain at Area 51.

The creatures who were retrieved from the crashes outside of Roswell and were brought to Walker Field, according to Dan Dwyer and Alpha Boyd's father, who worked at the base, looked almost like us. In fact, the scariest part about these entities, their overly large heads notwithstanding, was their resemblance to human beings.

They looked, as Dan Dwyer reportedly told his daughter Frankie Rowe, just like the insect known as the "Child of the Earth." They had very human faces, only a slit for a mouth, no real ears, and larger-than-normal eyes. The now thoroughly debunked alien-autopsy film shows the medical team removing a kind of lens from the alien's eye.

How close to reality might this have been? Col. Corso said all the way back in 1997, in an interview with Michael Linderman, that the ET's inner lens removed on the autopsy table reminded him of the kind of lens that was in his Roswell File at the Pentagon. That Roswell File no longer exists.

Another type of alien entity, some say, is the corporeal manifestation of the being as a series of orbs. Now these are interesting comments because there are so many orb photos circulating around the UFO community. Are orbs lifeforms, strange types of probes, or, as our friends Bruce Macabbee and David Biedny, he of Paracast fame, have said, are they simply lens flares or other digital or analog quirks that appear on camera but not to the naked eye?

If you ask our columnists Sri and Kira, orbs are real manifestations. If you ask Jim Gilliland, orbs are as real as can be. Or if you ask the subject of our August cover, Tonya Madenford, orbs are real, and they're here. Another alien contactee, who wishes to remain anonymous for the time being, took this photo of an orb alien being in his bedroom. And this is only one of many ETs that our contactee friend has captured on his digital camera.

Soon, very soon, we will tell his absolutely incredible story in these pages, a story of death and recovery, of being blinded by the light, and of awakening from a hurtling crash to the depths of the Redondo Trench with psychic abilities that intrude into his attempts to live a normal everyday life. This is the photo he took of the entity that has attached itself to him wherever he goes, even when he goes to bed.

I can't explain it. Can you?
